Kristine is an experienced educator whose career spans from K-12 to higher education, in both the public and private sectors. After graduating from the Boston Conservatory of Music, where she earned a Bachelor of Music and cultivated a love for chamber music ensembles, she went on to obtain a Master of Arts in Music Education from New York University (NYU). While at NYU, Kristine served as adjunct faculty in the Music Department and taught in the outreach division for the New York Pops. She has held music and band director positions at the Hotchkiss School, Plattsburgh State College, and Kingston City School District.
In 2013, Kristine earned a Certificate of Advanced Studies in School Leadership/Education Administration from SUNY New Paltz. During her administrative coursework she developed an interest in organizational development which led to her obtaining a certificate in instructional design.
In 2015, Kristine left the United States for an Assistant Principalship at Beijing International Bilingual Academy in China. There she supervised a large and diverse staff of teachers and more than 700 students.
Now in Doha, Kristine is eager to begin her new position as the Head of the Western Music Department.
