Exciting New Chamber Ensembles at Qatar Music Academy!

We are delighted to announce the formation of two new quartet ensembles, comprising talented students from within our accomplished orchestras. The Junior Quartet, drawn from Harmony Strings Orchestra, introduces Kaier Luo, Kaylee and Penny Su on violin, and Rita Maria Salloum on cello. Concurrently, the Senior Quartet - Anne Cao and Aliya Alkhiyami on violin, Ethan See on the viola, and Tarek El Husseiny on Cello, all members from the Qatar Youth Orchestra.
 

Under the expert guidance of main coach Stefan Robu, these ensembles are set to inspire chamber music with fresh vitality and passion. The initiation of these projects reflects not only the dedication and innovation of Director Zlatan Fazlic but also the nurturing mentorship provided by the individual teachers of each young musician.
 

The hard work and persistence of all parties have allowed us to revive the ensemble's spirit, which had momentarily stopped because of the restrictions imposed by the pandemic. As we revive this essential part of our institution’s offering, we are filled with optimism.
 

It is our hope that these quartets will prove to be enriching experiences for all participants and will further elevate the distinguished reputation of the Qatar Music Academy throughout the region.
