QMA at American School of Doha Parents' Night

In a lively event held in September 2023, teachers Rachel Seay and Ibrahim Kadar from the Qatar Music Academy (QMA) joined the annual American School of Doha (ASD) Community Activities Night. This gathering brought together ASD families and various local clubs and organizations to showcase a wide array of courses and activities for both adults and children.

The event served as a wonderful opportunity for families to explore the diverse offerings available within their community. Whether one was interested in learning a musical instrument, delving into Arab culture, or simply looking for engaging activities for their children, the Community Activities Night had something for everyone.

Visitors were welcomed to explore the instruments, get hands-on experience, and learn about the rich cultural heritage that surrounds these musical traditions. This hands-on approach allowed attendees to not only witness the beauty of these instruments but also to feel their melodies under the guidance of seasoned musicians.

Furthermore, the faculty team eagerly answered any questions regarding registrations for the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year. This ensured that attendees had all the necessary information to make informed decisions about enrolling in courses and activities that matched their interests and goals.

As the event concluded, attendees left with not only a deeper appreciation for the world of music and culture but also with the knowledge that they could embark on a musical journey with QMA in the upcoming academic year.

The ASD Community Activities Night exemplified the power of community engagement, education, and the joy of discovering new passions.
